How do you handle stress, when it comes?

Image
Hey guys!...I know I promised to finish up on the previous post, but mehn! I have been really busy and back, fully bustling and hustling...it's for the greater good though. So I would like to talk a little bit about something else today. STRESS! STRESS! STRESS!... How do u handle stress when it presents itself? What is the most appropriate and healthy way to tackle stress? Can one avoid stress? Does everyone experience stressful moments?... So many questions. The list goes on and on... Well, firstly I can assure you that everyone passes through stress. Everyone!. I'm sure you all know that.... Stress can present in different forms. It could be work( current situation for me!lol), family, kids, friends, even enemies😂. It could also be important decisions one has to make, uncertainties, disappointments etc. The list definitely goes on... It's important to note here that there is really no single way to handle stress. They come in different forms, so may hav

I stayed in Newcastle upon Tyne with my sister, a really beautiful town and serene too. Honestly, 'Oyibo' people are so freaking polite and nice (something we Nigerians  should emulate, shh!). I got to meet and interact with lovely neighbours. Someone would say who polite don epp?!...😂 Anyways, its a really beautiful city, houses like cute cottages😀, like you read in Hansel and Gretel. (hahaha!just kidding!) So, it has 2 big universities- Northumbria university, Newcastle university, so many big shopping malls of course (eg: Metro centre- the biggest shopping mall in England, as they say. The pride of the town!), hospitals (I just have to mention that right!😂 because its like a natural inclination). Well, I saw about 2 or so...really beautiful and so ORDERLY. When would our dear country be like this ehh?...we would get there. Amen!  Other things the town  is known for include: the Quayside, Newcastle Monument, Hadrian wall, Beamish Museum etc. Ps: would put up

The health wonders of garlic.....Amazing!!

Garlic is a natural herb used mainly for food spicing for different local and intercontinental dishes. Garlic is a plant in the Allium (Onion) family closely related to onions, leeks etc... As we all know, it comes in a bulb form with a no of cloves in each single bulb. Garlic contains allicin- this is responsible for the distinct garlic smell... Ok! Enough of the lecturing for now.. Why am I writing about this, some may be wondering... So my mum is a huge fan or advocate even (lol!) of... 'add garlic to that food  oo' as she would say most times, if not always lol!...to as much spice combinations she can mix up in her head. Inquisitive me! I decided to check it out. I mean, there has to be something about it after all, because i know a lot of people run away from it because of its irritating smell... I was surprised to note all the medical benefits attached to this single herb. So here they are: 1.  1 ounce or serving of garlic contains a lot of micronutrients

Nigeria @ 57! Happy or not?...

Nigeria's 57th independence celebration. Mixed feelings sure!! Hey guys, it urs sincerely... Hope y'all are good... So to deviate a bit. It was Nigeria's independence @ 57 years of 'freedom' from our colonial masters a few days back. So happy independence day to our beloved Nigerians in arrears!!!... So let's talk about this a little bit. Nigeria claimed its independence in 1960 following an independence movement. Little bit of history... Lagos state  was invaded by British  forces in 1851 and formally annexed in 1861. Nigeria became a British protectorate in 1901. Colonization lasted until 1960, when an independence movement succeeded in gaining Nigeria its independence. Nigeria went on to become a republic  in 1963 with  Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe as the first president. This was  short-lived as She succumbed to military rule three years later after a bloody   coup d'etat and Gen. Aguyi-Ironsi took over power briefly before it was taken from him fo
First handy health tip: Health is wealth. A lot of people may assume how they look does not really matter.; I mean, not everyone wants to be slim fit and all. The truth is asides from having a slim figure, there are a lot of mind-blowing health benefits from simple daily lifestyle habits. I would drop just a few of them here(more tips would definitely come later as we go on☺): 1. Drinking plain hygienic water : This particular health tip seems over flogged; but in my opinion it deserves to be repeated over and over again. I mean it's simple. You don't have to think about it. You don't have to spend money to get it per say. It's almost 'free'. Drink lots and lots of water, as much as your stomach ( tummy) can contain and your urinary bladder can control. ( ps: we would not want any embrassments!lol).  Researchers and personal testimonies also, have shown/ given many health, beauty benefits of intake of  hygienic water. I would list some of the benefit
